October Newsletter

Hello parents!

As we kick off the month of October, we as a team want to thank you for your continued support in this ministry. We're fully in the rhythm of the school year now, and our new 6th graders are beginning to call O&A Youth their home!

ONE NIGHT is October 1st!

We're so excited to look forward to fall at our ONE NIGHT next week! Whether your student has been countless times or has never been before, we'd love to see them there.

This month will be filled with fun activities outside, including a dirty soda bar, where students can mix and match different sodas and syrups!

It’ll be a night of fun, community and hearing an amazing message. We encourage you to uplift your students towards bringing their one life, as we are a church who values bringing people far from God near! Patio hangs start at 6:30pm and service starts at 7pm. Please have your student picked up by 9pm.

Speaking of all the things God is doing, we are having baptisms at our next ONE NIGHT! I have attached a pdf of our baptism information that has questions that you can ask your students to make sure they understand the decision they are making. If your student decides they want to get baptized then you can sign them up at the link below!

What's happening with CITY NIGHTS?

Our next set of CITY NIGHTS will begin on October 8th, and will run every Wednesday for the rest of the month. This month, we're starting a brand new series called The Weird Stuff, where we get to look deeper into the parts of the Bible that may seem a little weird or supernatural. We know that topics like these can be sensitive, but by engaging these scriptures with discernment and nuance, we believe that our students can grow even closer in connection to Jesus.
