About this Message

In this sermon, the Pastor Michael explores how our busy modern lives can destroy our relationships. He looks at the story of the Israelites being overworked as slaves in Egypt, and how God rescued them by establishing Sabbath rest. He explains how Sabbath helps us connect with God, ourselves, and others by stopping our work, resting, delighting, and contemplating. He challenges the congregation to take a Sabbath rest to improve their marriages, families, friendships, and church connections and highlights how slowing down is God's gift to enrich our relationships.
